returned to television screens tonight (August 30) with a special episode to reveal this year’s semi-finalists.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ITV talent competition has been closed since May, which has posed a bit of a problem for anyone looking at home tonight.
Tonight’s special saw judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon.
Amanda Holden and David Walliams cut 200 numbers to just 40, but it had been so long since the contestants were the last on our screens, many viewers didn’t. could not pass. remember who none of them were.

“It’s been so long that I can’t remember it, but I swear some acts that should have been in the semi-finals aren’t,” one fan tweeted.
Another wrote: “I have to be honest I don’t remember some of those acts. I don’t know how the judges do it.”
“I lost count, were the hearings broadcast late last year or this year?
Because I don’t remember any of those acts!” added another.
With this year’s finalists now revealed, the pre-recorded semi-finals will air on ITV starting Saturday, September 5th. However, there will be an obvious omission on the part of the jury.
Simon Cowell will be absent from the show because he has been (and still is) healed of a broken back, which he suffered as a result of an accident with an electric bicycle. He will be replaced on the panel by former BGT winner and diversity star Ashley Banjo.
