Is there a message today?
For anyone who expects major deliveries on public holidays, you may have to wait an extra day if the mail arrives via Royal Mail.
The UK Postal Service has posted an update on its website stating that there will be no collection or delivery on Monday August 31.
They added, “We deliver and collect mail most days of the year, including Saturdays.
“However, we generally do not deliver or collect on statutory holidays and public holidays.”
They have provided a link so you can check how the service will be affected in your area.
